  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder

For Frying:

  • Ghee (Clarified Butter)

Instructions

Dough Making:

  1. Mix Ingredients: Take a bowl and add wheat flour, salt, and ghee. Mix everything together.
  2. Knead Dough: Gradually add water and knead the ingredients to form a soft dough. Brush some ghee on the surface of the dough to keep it soft and moist.

Stuffing Making:

  1. In a bowl, add water into potato flakes and prepare a potato mash. Now add chopped onions, green chillies, dried pomegranate seeds powder, garam masala powder, chopped ginger, chopped coriander leaves, amchur powder, salt, red chilli powder, and roasted cumin powder. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to make the stuffing.

Aloo Pyaaz Paratha Making:

  1. Prepare Dough Ball: Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a ball. Flatten the ball and keep the edges thicker while keeping the center portion thinner.
  2. Add Stuffing: Place a generous amount of the potato stuffing in the center of the flattened dough.
  3. Seal and Flatten: Bring the edges of the dough together to cover the stuffing completely and seal it well. Flatten the stuffed dough ball gently.
  4. Roll Out Paratha: Dust the stuffed dough ball with some flour and roll it out into a flatbread (paratha) using a rolling pin
  5. Heat a tawa (griddle) over medium heat. Once hot, place the rolled-out paratha on the tawa. Cook the paratha on one side until golden brown spots appear, then flip it and cook the other side.
  6. Spread some ghee on the cooked side, flip again, and spread ghee on the other side. Cook until both sides are crispy and golden brown.
